The SCA is an organization for those who curious about history. It’s also a wonderful place to make friends and have fun! As an organization, the SCA is focused on the study and recreation of life, primarily in Europe, prior to the 17th century. At events, you’ll see people in elaborate costume, engaging in a variety of arts, and possibly donning armor to spar on the battlefield!

Mag Mor’s community is filled with variety. We have members that specialize in leatherworking, weaving, and costuming, as well as regular get togethers to practice music, archery, and fighting. There’s something for everyone!

We spend our time immersing ourselves in history; researching and recreating experiences to create the Modern Middle Ages. The Barony of Mag Mor resides within the kingdom of Calontir, which encompasses Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and part of Arkansas. Great skill and effort in the arts, sciences, martial activities, and service is honored with awards given by our kingdom’s royalty.
