As a non-profit, part of the Society for Creative Anachronism’s mission statement is to employ our knowledge to enrich the lives of others. In Mag Mor, we’re always seeking opportunities to connect with the community by sharing our skills and research.
We are open to requests to give educational presentations, demonstrations of skill, and hands-on learning opportunities. As our group is all volunteers, our commitment to a request will vary on who is available. Please reach out well in advance to allow us time to organize & prepare.
Past demos have included interactive arts and science stations, displays of completed projects created by our members, musical performances, and mock fights performed by our fighters. We have worked with Renaissance Faires, local churches, schools, and more.
By reaching out, you may expect a response from our Chatelaine (officer in charge of welcoming newcomers and organizing demonstrations) and Seneschal (our group’s legal representative).
