The challenge is simple, by the beginning of Lilies (June 5th, 2026) create a piece of
heraldic display to shore up Mag Mor’s title as “the center of all coolness and knowledge
in the Known World”.

To Enter: By June 5th, show me/send me pictures of some item you have created to
display a piece of heraldry. If you are basing it off a period item, light documentation is
welcome. Entries can be sent to the herald email address via photo, or shown to Istvan in person.

Rules:

1. The item must contain some new work begun on or after March 4th, 2026 (March
   Moot). This gives you 3 months to complete it. For example, adding your arms to
   a garb item you’ve already made is acceptable, but a banner you’ve already
   finished is not.
2. You may use any piece of heraldry, you do not have to use your own registered
   heraldry. For example, if you don’t have registered heraldry (like Istvan), you can
   make a banner with the barony’s populace badge on it (see the January
   Runestaff!) and/or Calontir’s populace symbols.
3. Entries will be judged by Their Excellencies Mag Mor and Istvan.
4. Team entries are welcome, and you may submit multiple entries.

Prize: To Be Announced. If you have something you would like to give as a prize,
please contact Istvan of Mag Mor (Ayden Eddings on facebook,
herald@magmor.calontir.org).

Ideas: I would be remiss to not offer some inspiration.

1. A banner– The classic choice!
2. Put a piece of your heraldry on a box of feast gear or sewing kit
3. Add your device to your garb in some fashionable way
4. Paint a shield/Piece of your fighting gear
5. Create a medallion for a baronial order*
   *I would advise against making one for the baronial martial orders, since
   those badges are subject to change at this time. See March Moot Minutes.
6. A token with your arms to be given to a friend/partner/enemy
7. A Heraldic Dog Coat
8. A new means of hanging the banner you’ve already finished
